I know the second season has already aired and the story has moved beyond that first explosive chapter, but my mind keeps drifting back to those nine episodes from Season 1. When he finally fought Deckard in the final episode of Act 1, I leaned forward and forgot to breathe. Watching Vander dominate with raw strength was a feast for my eyes. He couldn’t finish Deckard at first because Silco stabbed him in the back, but even then, Vander used shimmer in his last moments to stop Deckard and save Vi from the blast. In 2026, after seeing where the story goes, that sacrifice feels even heavier.

4. Jinx Is Here

Act 1 introduced me to Powder, a girl who wanted nothing more than to live up to Vi’s expectations. Instead, she unintentionally cursed everything she touched, which is why Mylo called her “Jinx.” In the game, Jinx is a maniac who loves destroying everything in her path, so every League of Legends fan was waiting for Powder to become Jinx. Her first appearance in Episode 4 did not disappoint. Setting up that reveal during the Firelights’ ambush was brilliant. I remember the shift in her eyes, the music, and the sudden, terrifying confidence. It was the moment I realized the show wasn’t just adapting a game; it was transforming it into tragedy.

3. Vi and Jayce Teaming Up

Vi and Jayce are incredibly popular champions in League of Legends. Vi relies on her fists, and I had already seen her fighting skills in the first two Acts. But in Episode 8, I finally saw her using the powerful Hextech gauntlets. Better yet, she teamed up with Jayce, who destroys everyone in his path with his legendary hammer. Watching Vi and Jayce fight together was a delight for every LoL fan. From animation to fight choreography to music, everything about the scene was breathtaking. I pumped my fist when they moved as a unit. It felt like the game had come alive in the best possible way.

2. Vi’s Second Fight With Sevika

Vi hated Sevika because Sevika betrayed Vander and sided with Silco, so Sevika was the first person Vi fought when she returned to Zaun after all those years. As expected, Vi overwhelmed her with punches, but Silco’s right hand used Vi’s emotions to turn the tide. After that, I waited impatiently for a rematch. I finally got it in the last episode. This time, Vi had the Hextech gauntlets to complement her punches. Watching Vi bring down Sevika and scream her victory was one of the most powerful scenes of Season 1. I screamed with her. Even now, in 2026, it remains one of my favorite animated fights.

1. Jinx vs Ekko

For me, the best moment from Arcane Season 1 was definitely Jinx’s fight with Ekko. Watching two childhood friends try to kill each other was heartbreaking. The fact that Ekko had a crush on Powder when he was a child made the scene even more depressing. No one can deny that watching these two characters fight had everyone on the edge of their seats. The switch between Jinx and Ekko’s childhood and the present fight was brilliantly executed. On top of that, the unusual animation style and the music made it one of the best fighting scenes in the animated format. I have seen it many times, and it still gives me chills.

Looking back from 2026, Arcane Season 1 remains a masterpiece. The second season expanded the world and broke my heart in new ways, but these five moments are the ones that made me fall in love with the series.
